Kris Perdue is the Manager of Somerset Saddlery LLC. She has been involved in equestrian activities for over 25 years. She is a graduate of William Woods College in Fulton MO with a degree in Equestrian Science. She competed in eventing for many years, rising to the advanced level. In 1996 she also opened an equestrian center where she offered full service boarding with 22 fully equipped stalls. She hosted horse shows, conducted horse training, provided English riding lessons and conducted clinics. She has also served as a broker, buying and selling horses for her clients. In 2003 she joined in the operation of a mobile tack shop that traveled to three day events and horse trials throughout the Southeast. In 2005 she purchased Somerset Saddlery which had successfully operated a mobile tack shop for a number of years throughout Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida. The operation has been expanded to increase the number of shows and to expand both the product line and the inventory. Kris has been able to use her experience as a competitor, as the operator of an equestrian center and as the manager of a tack store to develop a product line that that reflects proven quality. Somerset Saddlery is proud of having built a strong reputation for top-of-the-line products at affordable prices.
